The clear plastic around the figure is egg-shaped as opposed to the square shapes for other figures. There is a zigzag pattern ont he cardboard backer that is reminiscent of Easter eggs. The enclosed trading card bares the same image. Well done!Ĭolumbia House “Clubs” had everything from LPs & cassettes to video games & a branded Atari 2600 clone This looks like a properly planed holiday release. When I was a kid, Columbia House had a club for every type of media you could imagine. Reel-to-reel, cassettes, 8-tracks, albums, video games, software - they had it all! They went on to have VHS, CD and DVD offerings. If you're achievement hunting, I recommend beating the game on Hardcore with full weapon-upgrade-set, since that mode unlocks achievement for all difficulties. The game is (fortunately) surprisingly forgiving since there's unlimited amount of continues.Īlso if you had completed a stage/zone with an upgrade, you'll keep it regardless how many continues you use afterwardsĮ.G. I got an upgrade on zone 1, using continue on zone 2 and I still keep the upgrade. I for example used numerous amounts of continues on Final Zone while still retaining the upgrades (but lives always were reseted back to 1, of course).Īlso your score / cash won't be reseted after using a continue. This both works for and against you: You can keep amassing a sum without a worry of losing it for next upgrade. But the spent money is lost and won't be refunded if you are unable to complete the stage after purchasing an upgrade. Hardcore: Starting Lives 1, Checkpoints don't heal Normal: Enemies more resilient (+1-hit required), Checkpoints Heal, Lives Heal and give extra life, starting lives 9 Easy: Unlimited Lives, Checkpoints Heal, Lives Heal, almost all enemies die with a single shot Main differences between difficulties are following: So make sure to beat the stage once you get an upgrade. ((Fixed the typo on previous post, since I found the End-screen-text within the gamefiles alongside with the credits that's a lot of names credited.)) If I did remember something incorrectly, feel free to correct me. Wait, is that what the "S" coins do then? Will replaying levels on level select work for unlocking the ending? I found the "S" coin in the first level, but didn't know what to do with it, so went and killed the plant monster without seeing any sign of the drone dude. What do I do with the coins? I found a locked gate near the top of the first level - is it related?Įdit: Ok, based on other posts those are apparently the shops. So where is the drone dude? And can Level Select be used to rescue him and buy stuff from the shops or do these need to be done in a full playthrough from start to finish without level select?Įdit2: Figured out by testing - if you get an upgrade during a level select, it can only be accessed if you play the next level. We’re heading into the back half of June, and given that Nintendo has been consistent in adding a new Nintendo 64 game to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack service each month, it’s about time for a new game to be announced. And here we are! It’s Pokemon Snap, which isn’t super-surprising as it’s the last remaining unreleased title in the list of Nintendo 64 titles that Nintendo showed when the service launched. Well, Japan still has a couple of Custom Robo games in the tank, but for the West, this is it. Pokemon Snap will be arriving to the service on June 24th for Expansion Pack subscribers. In any other week this would probably be a day-one must-buy for beat-em-up fans, but with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles launching yesterday I can see a lot of people missing out on Final Vendetta. That would be unfortunate, because this is another terrific entry into a genre that has been seeing a lot of great entries in recent years. Either go it alone or pull in a friend for some local co-op as you bash heads and kick butts on the mean streets. You wake up in a bathtub of a motel room, bereft of both your clothes and your memories of how you got there. It’s either a hilarious comedy or a horror story, and while the Switch could probably use more of the former I must regretfully inform you that this is the latter. It’s a bit of action and a bit of escape-room style puzzle-solving as you try to escape. Should you succumb to the many dangers lurking about, you’ll find yourself back in that bathtub. I’m not too into horror games, but if you are then you might want to give this a closer look. Space Marshals 3 offers up another heaping helping of Space Marshals. Tactical combat where you can choose to take a stealthy approach or go in guns blazing, with plenty of guns and gear to make use of. Although the game is story-driven, you can feel free to jump in here if that’s a thing you want to do for some reason.
